Background
Purple Jesus started off with just two like minded musicians - Dave and Sam. Sam's band had just split up and was looking for something new. Dave then recruited a drummer - Matthew French with whom he had been friends with for many years. Matthew French being an experienced drummer provided the real punch to the band from the moment he set up his drums in his first practice. James later gave into fate after taking the role of bass player and completing the bands line up.
Members
David Gregory - aka Dave. The joint founder of the band with Sam brought all 4 members of the band together. He combines his lyrical skills, guitar playing and ideas for the band to become an emphatic front man and will be a vital factor in the bands push for success.
Sam Chaloner - The band's lead guitarist. He is a key figure in the band, as his lead solos and vast knowledge of songs are the driving force behind the band.
James Morris - aka Mozzy. Adds new ideas to songs through having different tastes in music from the others, as well as being a dedicated musician. His life experiences add to ever inspire the band more, and his experience with keyboards adds even more variation to the bands songs.
Matthew French - aka Fry, Frenchy, Noisy Bastard! An experience drummer adds new dimensions to the band through his musical knowledge and taste in music. He is also the noisiest and craziest member of the band!
